Photo Restoration

I restore photographs directly from original negatives, using a careful balance of technical precision and artistic judgement. Each negative is professionally scanned to capture the maximum amount of detail, then digitally cleaned to remove dust, scratches, and age-related damage while preserving the photograph’s original character. I correct fading, adjust contrast and tonal range, and reconstruct missing or damaged areas with close attention to historical accuracy. The goal is not to over-retouch, but to respectfully bring the image back to life-retaining the authenticity of the original while presenting it as clearly and beautifully as possible.

8-mm Restoration

I restore 8 mm movies by carefully transferring the original film to a high-resolution digital format, ensuring every frame is captured with accuracy and respect for the source. During the restoration process, I stabilize shaky footage, reduce flicker, correct exposure and color fading, and digitally remove dust, scratches, and other signs of aging. When possible, I also address timing issues and enhance clarity without stripping away the film’s natural texture. The result is a clean, faithful digital version of the original movie that preserves its history while making it easy to view, share, and archive for the future.

VHS Restoration

I restore VHS tapes by transferring them to a high-quality digital format using professional playback equipment to get the best possible signal from the original tape. The footage is carefully cleaned up by correcting color shifts, improving contrast, reducing noise, and minimizing tracking issues, dropouts, and other analog imperfections caused by age and wear. The goal is to preserve the original look and feel of the recording while creating a stable, accessible version that can be easily viewed, shared, and safely archived.

Compilation Videos

I create custom videos by brining together photographs and movie footage into a single, seamless story. Each image and clip is carefully selected, arranged, and edited to create a natural flow, with attention to pacing, transitions, and visual continuity. I enhance photos and videos as needed, then add music, titles, and timing that complement the content without overpowering it. The result is a polished, meaningful video that transforms individual moments into a cohesive narrative designed to be watched, shared, and remembered.
